Les Chevaux du Verdon is the story of an extended family of horses. They live together all year round in the wide-open spaces of the Verdon. Our approach aims to offer you the time to share a moment in the life of the herd, accompanied by a team of equestrian tourism professionals. Together, you will go on a discovery of this spectacular region, its lakes and its gorges. 

The uniqueness of the Centre de Randonnée Équestre du Grignolet comes from our herd : 66 horses that form an extended family. All but five of them were born at the centre and have grown up as part of the herd.

The lifestyle of our horses is very close to the way of life that horses have in the wild. At Les Chevaux du Verson, the horses live together, outside, in the expanses of the Verdon all year round. Learn more about the history of our herd and the way of life of the horses at Les Chevaux du Verdon.

The Centre de Randonnée Équestre du Grignolet is situated in the Haut-Var, in the Verdon, halfway between the Sainte-Croix and Esparron lakes. This ideal geographical location allows us to explore the hills, lakes and gorges of the Verdon, all the while learning more about its landscapes, fauna and flora.

The Verdon region has a rich natural and cultural heritage. By turning back the clock, we discover that humans have been developing close ties with the Verdon for a long time…
